Geraldine Hart was elected Suffolk County’s first woman police Commissioner in February 2018. Before becoming commissioner, Hart headed up the FBI’s Long Island office, was the Senior Supervisory Resident Agent and the liaison to senior FBI leaders and state, county, local and federal law enforcement partners. She also supervised the Long Island Gang Task Force.
