Ms. Murphy has been the Executive Director/CEO of the Suffolk IDA since June 2024 and as Acting Executive Director from June 2023 to June 2024. She previously served as the Deputy Executive Director of the Suffolk IDA since January 2015.

Prior to her role at the SCIDA, Ms. Murphy held positions including Assistant to the Commissioner of Suffolk County Economic Development and Planning, the Executive Director of the Glen Cove CDA/IDA, and the Director of Strategic Initiatives at the City of Glen Cove.

She also serves on the boards of the New York State Economic Development Council, Suffolk County Workforce Development, and the HIA-LI.
