Elbert F. Nasis is a Co-Chair of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department and partner in its Employment & Labor and Veterinary practice groups. With nearly three decades of litigation experience, Mr. Nasis is continually recognized for his ability to handle complex civil litigations in state and federal courts, from inception through trial. He consistently obtains client-defined results in an efficient manner and is dedicated to counseling and assisting corporate and individual clients. Mr. Nasis also has extensive experience in real estate, commercial, business, construction, trusts and estates, and insurance coverage litigations. Additionally, he represents clients in connection with claims involving discrimination, harassment, workplace injury, wrongful termination, hostile work environment, and wage-and-hour disputes.  Moreover, Mr. Nasis represents veterinary consolidators, veterinarians, and veterinary executives with employment-related matters.  He has drafted employee handbooks, employment agreements, restrictive covenants, employment policies and separation agreements for the veterinary industry as well as provided guidance for compliance with employment laws.
