Alan G. Vitters


Al Vitters was born in Brooklyn and raised in Northport. He graduated from West Point in 1968 and served in the Army for 24-years retiring as a Colonel. He served 2-tours in Vietnam, 4-years in Germany, and 1-year in Panama as an Infantry Officer. He holds MS and PhD degrees from the University of Utah, served on the West Point faculty, and has taught and published research for over 20-years on leadership, motivation, and organization development. He and his wife Kathy have one son, three grand children, and reside in Ft. Salonga.
