He is Chairman of the Suffolk County Judicial Facilities Agency. He provides economic commentary on TV and radio; is a columnist for the Long Island Business News, and has appeared in the New York Times, Newsday, and other publications. He is the author of Long Island, The Global Economy and Race: The Aging of America’s First Suburb.
