A 32-year veteran of ESBOCES, Dr. Lutz is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of the agency. She is also the chairperson of the Legislative Committee of the Suffolk County School Superintendents Association, and is a member of the Long Island Education Coalition where she works to advocate for public education on Long Island. She is also very involved in policy research and development. A staunch advocate for data driven, effective practices for maximizing student outcomes, Dr. Lutz completed her administrative training at Stony Brook University. She has a Ph.D. from Hofstra University and earned both her Master and Bachelor of Science Degrees from SUNY Oswego.
